American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry provides an opportunity for dental students interested in pediatric dentistry to network with one another, with current residents, with faculty, and with pediatric dentists in private practice; it provides a forum for the discussion of issues in pediatric dentistry, including current literature, classic literature, and issues in contemporary practice; and provides guidance for those interested in applying to post-graduate pediatric residency programs.
